Apple Cult Becoming a Religion

by. Dan Mitchell

With the emergence of Apple products on the Market, Apple is starting to get more respect not only from the Apple followers, but everyday computer users. There was talking that when Apple releases the iPod that it was a fluke, a one hit wonder. But this summer Apple released two new products, the iPhone and Apple TV. The iPhone has been said to be an even bigger hit than the iPod, but the Apple TV has surpassed both the iPod and iPhone. Apple TV can store up to 50 hours of television and can be wirelessly beamed from a computer to a television set. It will allow users the ability to download movies as well as popular TV shows.

Another move that Apple has made that has created a shift in popularity, is that they have started using Intel processors. With the ability to run both Apples operating system as well as Microsoft Window’s allows company’s to use more expensive computers, but use less computers more efficiently. It is also more user friendly because it runs programs for Mac and for Window’s.

With the changes that Apple has made has almost convinced me to change religions. I have been a dead fast PC fan, because of the availability of the software and games. But with the emergence of the iPod and their music system, it makes me to start to consider using Apple products. The Apple computer was the very first computer that I actually used, learning math and reading programs in elementary school. Oh how much time and technology has changed. The iPod is everywhere in our society. You cannot walk two feet on campus today and not see someone walking with earphones in their ear listening to music. Of course who can remember life without the cell phone. Everyone has one, and it has almost taken the place of the home phone. So to combine the two is genius.
